Meg is seven months old today . . . such a big girl now! She's so much fun to be around. All of my friends with older children say every age is their favorite . . . and now I know why! I thought last month was my "favorite age" -- but Meg keeps on getting better and better. We had fun this morning at breakfast . . . we celebrated her latest milestone: sipping from a sippy cup all by herself. Look how big she is -- and how proud of herself she seems to be!
When you have time, check out the newest photos added to our Picasa Web Albums. I LOVE the Rocking Chair series . . . you can see how much Meg has grown.
Hope you are having a GREAT weekend, wherever you are.

Playdates!
Meg is keeping busy these days by visiting her girlfriends . . . . here she is on several recent playdates. With the exception of our good friends the Alfords, all of her buddies are GIRLS! We do have some friends that just recently had a boy (Congrats Charlie & Teri) and some other friends are set to have a boyfriend for Meg (Yeah Mauri & Greg!) . . . but for now, it's PINK every where we go.

We are Blogging!
Hi Family and Friends,
Well, it's a new year and time to try a new thing . . . for the Dahlbys, that means setting up a new blog to post stories and pictures of our family. We hope you enjoy it! Check back as often as you'd like . . . we'll keep it updated as much as we can.
Meg Update --
Meg will be an amazing 7 months old this weekend! We just don't know where the time has gone. She's a proud, independent sitter these days . . . although she really shows little interest in starting to scoot or crawl. We spend our days visiting friends, eating solid foods, watching Sesame Street, taking swimming lessons, and napping.
Family Update --
What else is there to say? Our lives are so busy with Meg these days. I just had my 29th birthday a week ago, and Jim will be turning 28 next week. January is always busy with birthday celebrations in our house. Jim is still traveling quite a bit . . . he went to Houston this week and forgot his coat!
My dad is doing MUCH better and is home from the hosptial. We are all so glad for that, and we thank all of you who were thinking of him this past week. We'll know more about his treatment and care in the next couple of weeks . . . we are hoping the doctors don't have to do any additional surgeries.
We hope you all are doing fantastic and staying warm.
